The Apple who travels : The project

I bought this book (lucky me!) but here is my point : We weren't all that lucky. Sooo, I had an idea... We are Sanctuary For Kids supporters as well as Amanda Tapping and Sanctuary fans. We are a
team!

I'll send my book to someone who makes a 5$ donation (or more, we start at 5$!) for Sanctuary For Kids.

You will need to send me the proof of the payment at theapplewhotravels@gmail.com. When I have the proof, I will send the book to you. Then, another person makes a donation and gets the book.

We'll start on monday, December the 5th and the project will be over on Monday, February the 10th.

If you're interested :
send me an e-mail with your full name and address. I'll make a « waiting list » that I'll put on the blog. (without your address of course!).
I will contact the person who has the book at the time and tell them to send it to the address of the next person on the list. That way, we can follow the book’s journey !

Whenever you get the book : I write your name and the country you live in on the blog. (if you wish, you can take a picture of you with the book to upload on the website).

I won’t mention the amount you donated on the blog. Only the total amount of money raised. Because it’s not about how much one person gives, it’s about how many people join, about the team that we are.

Something you need to know : you have to deal with the postal fees when you send the book to the next person.

Once the deadline is past, I’ll need the book back, because I’m planning on giving it away at the Chevron 7.8 auction. ;)
THANK YOU GUYS! =)

And remember : It's not always about giving money, HELP SPREAD THE WORD! =)

ALL PROCEEDS GO TO S4K. I, of course, contacted them before I started this project. I will not receive any money from this project!

Sanctuary For Kids

Sanctuary For Kids

Well, I'm sure you're all fellow supporters of Sanctuary For Kids. But maybe not! Even if you're not (yet ;P), don't go away! Let me tell you a little about this wonderful organization.

Sanctuary For kids was created by Jill Bodie, Amanda Tapping and Damian Kindler. As they say, their mission is to improve the lives of children around the world who need protection and are in crisis – those who are exploited, dispossessed and threatened.

Nepal, Haiti, Pakistan, Somalia, Canada . Every penny raised is given to children who really need it... Rebuilding houses, buy food, help protecting the children... One mission to accomplish many things all around the world!

The Book

The Book.

Rubber Rocks and Appleboxes is a lovely book for children, which describe and explain a full day of work on the set of Sanctuary. It's been written by Terry Murray and illustrated by Jenn Brisson.
They sold 100 of those books and all proceeds from the sale went to Sanctuary For Kids.
